Properly fitted Orthotics are comfortable and easy to use

We are Brisbane's orthotic fitting specialists!

Foot orthoses (orthotics) come in a variety of styles and forms, and are suitable for a range of foot and leg conditions. We are able to offer our patients a range of different options for foot orthoses depending on their needs.

Podiatry practice uses the Latest Orthotics manufacturing technology

The Podiatry Practice has purchased the latest hi-tech machinery and software to be able to make custom orthotics to the highest standards. There is no longer any waiting as we make the orthoses immediately in our rooms.

The technology is called "Orthema" and is known in podiatry circles and best technology available.
Orthema systems are Swiss/German engineered and represent cutting edge innovation and design.

The custom orthotics that are produced by the system are precision designed from a fast and efficient 3D digital scan of the foot.

The orthotics that we make after the 3D foot scan are the best we have encountered and have proven highly effective in the treatment of many podiatric conditions that typically require orthotics including heel pain, flat feet, lower back pain and postural complaints and sports injuries.

Custom Sports / General Orthoses

Custom Sports Orthoses These devices are typically made from polyprolelene or a similar material, and provide long term durability and control over significant biomechanical problems. They are lightweight and can be shaped to fit a wide range of mens, womens and athletic shoes, but are not suitable for womens fashion shoes (see our Dress Orthoses). They can be a full length or 3/4 length device, with a range of soft covering materials to provide additional cushioning to the foot.

Soft Diabetic / Accommodative Orthoses

Diabetic Orthoses For conditions such as diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, soft cushioning materials are usually needed. Our accommodative orthoses are made of 3 layers of materials: EVA, slow return poron, and plastazote - which together provide stability to the foot, along with moulding around bony prominences and pressure points that might be at risk of ulceration of breakdown.

Dress Orthoses

Women's Dress Othoses The needs of women are catered for with our Dress Orthoses, which are specifically prescribed in a lightweight, thin material that is designed to suit a range of dress and fashion footwear. These are typically 3/4 length devices and are suited to loafers, flats and moderate heeled footwear.
